Doro Wat is an Ethiopian dish that combines onions, chicken, and boiled eggs into a stew. That brown-red sauce is like 95% minced onion. Really good and fairly spicy too. It’s served with sponge bread to sop everything up with.

I have! It’s unbelievable. Thick dark sauce, spicy, intense savoury flavour. So much African cooking is massively underrated.
