In my opinion, there are things we can’t replicate that fast food chains and restaurants produce. However, there are also things like this that can’t really be replicated by those places for some reason. Damn.. burgerthoughts

The meat is a little too thick, the burger is too tall, and looks well done.
Squish the patty a little more and in the center only press your thumb into it before cooking. Just play around with the timing for the doneness that comes with experience so don’t sweat that.
5/10 on this attempt. McDonald’s is probably a 6/10 so make those small adjustments and folks will want to come over instead of getting fast food. That’s when you know you’re getting good.

Looks good my man. I’m more of a smash burger guy, but I’d eat this. Made burgers tonight. I highly recommend throwing those onions on the stove top with butter, salt, and pepper and cooking em up.
