The basque cheesecake at Olive & James is outstanding. $12 a slice for decadent, creamy, rich cheesecake. I don’t think I’ve found another place in LA making it in this way.
The tiramisu matcha kept popping up on my tik tok feed and I was pretty disappointed with it. They’re actually using high quality matcha and blending it well, but at $8 for the cup, it’s basically all cream. I’m not sure what their idea of “tiramisu” is but this wasn’t it. I would stick to a regular matcha latte.
