    I have a good friend who always saves me a large piece when he makes it for his family. I make it stretch for several days to make it last because it’s so delicious.  I totally appreciate all the work that goes into it. Well done OP.

    Just to let you know it’s Baumkuchen. German for treecake. It looks like the year rings of a tree (trunk) hence the name.
