Going into its 19th year in business, Casero’s has been making and serving its original thin-crust pizza pies at the West Shore Farmers Market in Lemoyne.
Customers enjoy a friendly atmosphere and quality service from Casero’s staff.
For many central Pennsylvania residents, Casero’s has become a local hotspot and family tradition for people who want pizza the way it’s supposed to taste.
Another highlight is that the restaurant offers its pizzas ready to be baked at home on their time.

Signature dish that we photographed: Pizza Roma
Why is it popular? Our Pizza Roma is very popular because it is an upside-down pizza pie with lots of cheese combined with a crispy thin crust and sauce on top. The just-right blend of ingredients makes it ideal for baking in our vintage 700-degree pizza oven.
How is it made? Our highly trained pizza cooks make it. Our Pizza Roma is an upside-down pizza with three distinct Italian cheeses, the perfect blend of Italian seasoning, and then topped with our signature pizza sauce. The generous balance of ingredients combined with baking perfection makes this East Coast-style pizza one of the most popular pizzas sold at Casero’s. We make our homemade pizza dough from our original family recipe. Our thin-crust pizza performs just right in our hot ovens giving it a slight char which highlights its unique flavor, texture, and foldable eating option.
Price: $13-$21, depending on size
What does it taste like? You taste all the ingredients, not one overrides another. If you like cheese and crunch, this pizza is for you. Just enough sauce on top enhances the flavor of the pizza in its own way.
How did you come up with this dish? Casero’s owner Matt Szejk loves extra cheese on his pizza and believes that many “pizza people” share that sentiment. Inspired by countless East Coast pizzerias through his travels, Matt created his version of the upside-down style pizza pie, adding his twist.
How many do you sell a week? Our Pizza Roma accounts for about 25%-30% of all the fully baked and take-and-bake pizza sold at the market.
