The most exciting new launch is dropping today from Starbucks and no it isn’t Dubai chocolate (thank goodness) – it’s something even better..
It’s a whole new menu inspired by my favourite Italian dessert of all time – tiramisu! Yep, that’s right. Not just one drink, but THREE tiramisu flavoured iced drinks, just in time for summer. And the warmer weather is certainly coming – it’s getting up to 22 degrees next week!
The brand-new Starbucks Tiramisu-inspired range includes a Tiramisu Cream Iced Latte (£4.95), a Tiramisu Cream Iced Oat Shaken Espresso (£5.05) and a Tiramisu Frappuccino blended beverage (£5.05).
Each drink starts with a vanilla mascarpone sauce which is then mixed (or blended) with espresso, milk of choice and topped with a vanilla mascarpone flavoured cold foam cream and finished with a dusting of mocha powder on top for that signature tiramisu look.
There are three drink options to choose from, depending on how sweet you like your iced drinks. Personally, the tiramisu cream iced latte will be the first option I try from the range and is available to order today for Starbucks Rewards members either in-store or via the Starbucks® UK app. Otherwise it will be more widely available for everyone from 1 May.
There will also be two new Starbucks Refresha drinks available in the new summer menu (both of which are very popular in the US apparently) for the first time ever. If creamy milky drinks aren’t your thing, there will also be a Melon Pearl Starbucks Refresha drink featuring juicy, melon flavoured pearls (think fruity bubble tea style – yum), and for those who love drinks more on the tropical side, there’s also going to be a Frozen Mango Dragonfruit Starbucks Refresha drink, for the ultimate cool down drink. Now bring on summer!!
