Dine-and-dock, oceanfront and riverfront restaurants on Treasure Coast

Restaurants on the Treasure Coast not only offer unique meals, but also serve stunning waterfront views.

Sewall’s Point, named by Capt. Henry Sewall, is the peninsula between the St. Lucie River and the Indian River Lagoon in Martin County.

The Town of Sewall’s Point received its charter on June 12, 1957. It’s grown to become one of Martin County’s exclusive residential communities with about 825 residences, a business district, a town park and a town hall.

Here are four restaurants featuring seafood, hibachi, Italian food and Asian food found on Sewall’s Point.

Benihana

The well-known hibachi restaurant’s Sewall’s Point location is less than 4 miles from downtown Stuart and offer views of the St. Lucie River. Guests sit at communal hibachi grill tables in groups with a personal chef who performs the ancient art of teppanyaki.

The natives of Sicily, Italy, opened Renato’s in the Harbour Bay Plaza in 1996, followed by Josephine’s Cafe & Bistro in the same location. They combined the two restaurants in 2019.
