Another smash burger joint that’s getting a lot of buzz. It may not look impressive but it tastes very good. Nice and crispy edges, still juicy in the middle. In terms of smash burgers, I think it’s a bit better than Easy Street Burgers and Heavy Handed because of the seasoning and taste of the beef. Just tastes better. Hard to describe. Small and simple menu. Fries are solid but not my favorite.
I would put the smash burger itself slightly above Heavy Handed, but Heavy Handed has much better fries, crispier and soaked in beef tallow. They have soft serve ice cream as well for a cool after meal treat, but I’d say Heavy Handed has better soft serve as well. Plus indoor seating and AC.
I’d recommend this place if you want a simple burger, nothing fancy, but good.

How much was it?
Honestly? It is better than HH imo but not by much. Also, for a triple stack? That’s looking pretty sad if I’m being honest.
Win-Dow has a better burger and fries. Again, imo. Plus their price point can’t be beat.
* cheeseburger = $4.35
* double cheese burger = $7.50

That looks so mid
Waited an idiotic amount of time for a burger here several years ago and have happily never been back 🙂
It wasn’t even busy! You have a tiny menu of simple, quick to prepare food and then take forever getting it out, for what, vibe reasons?
Overhyped. Overpriced. Oversalted. And the owner is a weirdo on social media and probably will read this.
Thank you for sharing my favorite smash burger
BNSD is my favorite smashburger, followed by Goldburger. HiHo is my favorite burger overall.
I just can’t like this place. I alwaaaays ask for my fries well done and they just nod and then getting hit with the price. Idk. No real community vibe here. Mid mid midddddddddd
Lmao that looks so sad. Smash burger trend has to die, it’s robbery
Bet the fries sold separately
half as good as in and out for four times the price
Looks depressing lol
These burgers and fries are so good! Never had a smash burger whose little fat crispies hit quite like theirs. Wait time is intense tho.
Forgot the cheese sauce with the burger and fries
Is the smash burger trend over?
Owned by a fragile man
Lol sorry that looks so sad..
My fav spot tbh. Fries are fire and burger is great.
Anyone have an idea of what type of seasoning they put in their patties?
BNSD has had the crown of best smash burgers before smash burgers were popular… been eating there for years now
Good but way too expensive. Elevated McDonald’s we get it.
Lol sorry I am bitter, poor and love going out to eat😂
Hell to the naw
Waste.
What was the final total?
Win-Dow is so much better and cheaper – used to live two blocks from BNSD and only went twice
This is my favorite burger and fries in the area by a landslide. They have super crispy Lacey edges around the patty and it’s always nicely seasoned. I think the simplicity of it is the strong suit. I live close by so I add a dollop of kewpie mayo to the burger when I get home, which is the only thing missing but I love mayo on a burger. Fries are crisp and beefy and they give you a ton. Cheese sauce is excellent. Agree it’s pricey it’s def worth it.
I tried heavy handed recently and was pretty disappointed. Portions were generous but burger was bland and unappealing. I also didn’t really like their burger sauce. In general a lot of places miss me with either their fries (window, in n out) or their sauce (gold burger, ftw). I did really enjoy easy street but a little too far to be my regular spot. To be fair to folks repping Window, it is a great burger for the price.

One of the most confusing names of any restaurant in history, and when I went a few years ago the service was so insanely slow that it overshadowed any memory of what the burger tasted like.
If you like these check out Park Burger. Way more flavorful imo but patties are similar. They’re a pop up, schedule is in their highlights every week.
Burgers Never Say Die do Beef Tallow cooked Fries, which for me is a must.
Since I tried their fries they have become my primary burger place.
This place is overpriced, the burger is actually burnt – not smashed crispy-, fries are like $9, and vibe is trash. Worst burger in LA.
IMO the best smash burger in LA. Not hiding behind any fancy sauce. Super consistent every time. The combination of all the flavors is just exactly what a burger should be. Super nostalgic and no frills. Definitely a higher price point but I’ve also heard that is because they pay their employees a real living wage with benefits. The fries are so good every time. My kids love it. The new outdoor seating is a game changer. Wait time was super long years ago but it seems like unless you’re there at prime dinner time on a weekend you get your food within 10-15 minutes. Always HOT AF!! Soft serve is delicious but I just wish they had milkshakes to round it all out.
That looks like poopy
I feel like burgers never say die somehow captures what my tastebuds tasted as a 10 year old eating McDonald’s.
It feels very nostalgic for me, while being infinitely better than a McDonald’s cheeseburger.
