I bit into and ate some of this nasty sardine that had a consistency of styrofoam and actually looked like styrofoam flesh. This was mixed into pasta but held together. Is this safe? What is this?

    it looks like eggs. i find the consistency to be very unpleasant, almost gritty, tho flavor is neutral.

    Funny, I had Roe (eggs) in my last tin of sardines and was so excited about it 🤣

    If you don’t know what it is, it can definitely look alarming! But it’s so tasty!
