A French-themed restaurant in east Belfast has gone on the market.
Marcel, formerly known as Monad, has been trading on the Belmont Road since late 2022.
The highly-rated French-style bistro was originally launched by Niall Davis, Tamsin Harper and chef Niall Duffy.
The trio also also launched sister venue Duad The Two on Belmont Road, latterly known as Bebé Marcel.

In November, Marcel expanded into the south of the city, opening a new restaurant in the Lisburn Road premises previously home to Mr Davis and Ms Harper’s Mexican eatery Cú, which closed last year.

Cú was recently relaunched at The Boneyard on Bedford Street, the outdoor pub venue operated by The Clover Group.
Six months after opening on the Lisburn Road, the original Marcel has now been placed on the market.
The fully fitted Belmont Road venue has been marketed as a turn-key licensed restaurant for £65,000.
The 1,500 sq ft premises, previously occupied by Bennett’s, includes around 50 covers with a high standard fit-out.
The listing from Robin Properties states the Belmont Road restaurant has ten-years remaining on its current lease, with rent priced at £18,500 per year.
Mr Davis and Ms Harper are also behind popular Belfast city centre Asian fusion restaurant Jumon on Fountain Street.
Jumon opened a second venue in east Belfast’s CS Lewis Square last November.
Niall Duffy’s CV includes a three-year stint at Gordon Ramsey’s signature three Michelin star London restaurant and two years at Dublin’s two Michelin star Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud.
More recently, he held the head chef role at the innovative south Belfast fine-dining restaurant Blank.
Both Marcel restaurants remain open and continue to trade.
