This was a premium meal! Okay I love Korean food and flavors, so I guess I was a touch disappointed in this one. It was still tasty but the first three bites were really good but afterwards it felt a bit one-noted and just sweet and salty, with a pickled veg bite every now and then. I have a lot of great Korean food around me so maybe I was hoping for a bit more depth in flavor. Also they give you a ton of seaweed, which I wish I used more for wraps, but the instructions said to crumble half (of the very large supply) to flake on the top of the casserole. (Also I need to invest in actual bakeware so please don’t come for me lol)

thats so disappointing. i didnt get this one bc my fav food from my 3 month stay in Korea was kimbap, nearly daily. i knew hf wouldnt deliver, but thats even worse than expected

I just looked up the recipe and with all the ingredients provided it sounds pretty tasty.
“first few bites” that’s how I am with the coconut curries. It’s good and then it’s not.
I got this one and was also disappointed. I found that I prefer the bulgogi bowls or bibimbap more.
