lol I did something similar with watermelon. Was my second day and they put me on garde manger. Sous told me he needed cubed watermelon. I cut one like .25 and show him and he goes no, a little smaller. So I did another, slightly smaller and he says a little bigger lmao. So I cubed like 9 from as small as I could while it still maintained its shape to like .50 and brought them all to him and asked which size he’d like.
He busted out laughing and said that was a first, then picked one and I did the rest that size
