Got access to a Moët Hennessy sale through LVMH and figured i'd take advantage for the future with all the ongoing tariff nonsense.
Anyone have experience with the Krug or Dom Rosés that they care to share? I've heard great things, but want to be careful to not open them too early.
I may need to forget about these in my cellar for the next 5-10 years..

What a selection!
I’ve only tried a few prestige champagnes (and I haven’t gone up to Salon level) but from my experience Krug is the absolute bees knees. I drank a 171 last year and it was lovely. No doubt better with time, but I wouldn’t say there’s an obligation to lay down if you have something worth celebrating.
Krug is exceptional. The Grande Cuvée is consistently great. I wouldn’t be in a hurry to drink it, but given you have 6, if your curiosity gets to you, popping a bottle now will mean acidity, but would be an interesting reference point for the other bottles down the line. Personally, I like it with at least 10 years cellar time on it, but to each their own. If I were you, I’d plan to drink one now, then one in 5 years, from there you decide if you want to cellar or drink the remainder and on what
timetable. All of these have a long life ahead. I’d say min 15-20 years with good storage. The Dom maybe slightly shorter and likely enjoyable now.

Krug will forever hold a special place in my heart. It was the wine that showed me why people make such a big deal about Champagne.

Also they release these when they are ready to drink. Will improve with time but just remember the wine can be the occasion and make any day special!
Would you mind letting us know what sort of prices u managed to get, esp. for the Krug 172eme? So envious! 🙂
