Pont de la Tour is diving headfirst into summer with the launch of its Riviera Beach Club Pont.

Plage– a stunning riverfront transformation designed to bring Côte d’Azur vibes straight to the heart of London. From real sand and striped deck chairs to vibrant umbrellas and French cinema screenings, it’s the ultimate London escape with a distinctly chic twist. This isn’t just any sunbathing beach – guests can expect a line-up of alfresco fun including beach volleyball and bat-and-ball tournaments with an added skill involved: all games must be played cocktail in hand!

Speaking of which, Pink Hour is your daily dose of rosé-fuelled joy. Between 5pm-6pm weekdays & 12pm-1pm weekends, trays of complimentary Mirabeau spritz will be circulating throughout as DJ’s play Café Del Mar and Hotel Costes beach bangers. Whether you’re escaping the office grind or kicking off Le Brunch de la Tour, there’s no better way to toast to summer.

Beachgoers can tuck into beach bites with a French flair. Think lobster rolls, hotdogs with French mustard, and the iconic Pan Bagnat – the much-loved sandwich from Nice, packed with Provençal flavour. To cool off, follow the roaming ice cream bike for a scoop (or three) of happiness. Expect weekly changing flavours and handcrafted, all-natural French popsicles courtesy of Emki Pop – a little taste of Marseille on the Thames.

This summer, ditch the departure lounge and head to Pont de la Tour for seaside energy without the suitcase. Sand between your toes, rosé in hand, and a sunset over the river – c’est parfait.

About

Le Pont de la Tour

A luxurious riverside destination with iconic views, Le Pont de la Tour combines traditional yet innovative French cuisine, knowledgeable and friendly staff, thoughtful design that evokes the Parisian chic of the 1930s and stunning views of the City and Tower Bridge.

As a part of the revitalized Butler’s Wharf, Le Pont de la Tour carries on the legacy of Sir Terence Conran, whose transformative vision shaped this stretch of the River Thames. From 1985 through 1997, Conran and Partners master-planned Butler’s Wharf, turning rundown docks into a vibrant mix of lofts, offices, and iconic restaurants – including Le Pont de la Tour within the Design Museum he founded.
