These are a lot of work and plenty of dirty dishes, but then again, I do not have a life, and I am too cheap to pay for the Impossible Corn Dogs. Chances are, you already have a favorite recipe for seitan hot dogs, and here is the batter I used:
Batter:
1 C yellow cornmeal
1 C all-purpose flour
2 T vegan sugar
4 t baking powder
1/4 t salt
1/8 t black pepper
1 C Aquafaba
Combine all ingredients and let the batter rest in the refrigerator for one hour. Heat oil. Insert a skewer into each hot dog, then roll it in flour and dip it in batter. Fry until golden brown.
