Earlier I posted asking for help after my slow cooker had accidentally been turned off. Luckily and thanks to the reassurance of folks here, it was salvageable. It was great, recipe I found/used is from the website below (not mine and not an ad if that needs saying), but could’ve been juicier. Next time I’ll double the recipe for the sauce to have some for drizzling over.

    Glad you were able to salvage it!

    Id have to throw some into a frying pan w/a little oil. When close to crispy enough, mix back in some of the slow cooker juices and reduce them down.

    And probably add some cayenne, paprika, garlic powder and oregano or cilantro)

    Highly recommend Scott’s sauce out of Goldsboro. Best eastern style you can buy in a jar.
