I prefer to order from kiosks. Not as rushed, order always goes in correct…

The thing is, most people like it this way nowadays. Younger generations Tend to don’t need the contact too a human beeing. I for myself don’t care but if there is a counter I choose to interact with people. Also I don’t want to do the job of a McDonald’s employee and don’t get paid for it! Thats what many people don’t realize. They just doing things McDonald’s staff did. Now the customer is doing it aaaand is paying for it.

If we are going to get rid of people’s ability to gain work skills then companies need to start understanding that there will be people without work skills.

Burger King makes the best burgers. Just the way they are made. I love the Whopper with cheese.

For every big chain burger place that turns into this, there are 4 genuinely good small burger places or local chains that pop up and employ humans and make great food. I don’t really feel bad for BK or it’s giant peers.

I just really think it’s funny that most people think working in fast food means standing in front of a register. That’s literally the least needed position and least desirable position. Most employees I’ve had working in QSR for over a decade would rather make food than talk to dipshit customers. The register can be automated without cutting employees in most situations. Now if we’re talking about people who are intellectually disabled then they most certainly aren’t working a complex register. I wish I could never talk to another customer again, but even if these self service registers came with a wire to stick in the customers ass to read their mind they still wouldn’t order correctly and make last second decisions on what they want.

Looks like the front counter at the dispensary I go to where you order first and then they call your name and you go back behind an electronically controlled door to pick up your stuff

Somehow, I think this won’t stop customers from losing their shit about getting the pickles they didn’t ask for on their whopper
