Grilled strip steak, asparagus and mixed vegetable salad. The steak was dry brined with sea salt and then seasoned with cracked black pepper. The asparagus was grilled and then drizzled with olive oil. The salad was zucchini, red bell pepper and red onion, chopped after grilling and tossed with a mustard vinagrette. The fire was a mix of lump charcoal and a few hunks of hickory.

    Looks delicious! Did you lay the asparagus across your grill slats, or do something like a tinfoil boat technique?
