After you prune your tomato plants this is how to root them to give you more plants for free!
So, now that we pruned our tomato plants, what do we do with all these suckers? Told you I’d show you. Real simple. I’m going to leave them exactly the way I cut them. I’m not going to do anything else to them. Get yourself a nice cup and some water. I like to use bottled water or at least filtered water to get any of the junk out. Chlorine. Don’t know if it helps or not, but it gives me a piece of mind. Fill her up. Then we’re going to take all those suckers that we just cut pruning out there and just make sure they’re all submerged down in the water and we’ll be back in a few days to show you the result. It’s been 5 days since we put these cutings in some filtered water and let’s see what we got. Check it out. Roots start growing all up the stem. All you got to do, get yourself a little bit of soil, plunk a hole in it, drop that down in the soil, pack it in, and you got a whole new tomato plant.
