I love the cheese one too, accompanied with the crunchy slaw.

“What’s your favorite Donkatsu?”
The one which is not doused in sauce.

Yangnyeom Chicken Tonkatsu (μλ μΉν¨ λκ°μ€) β A unique pork cutlet drenched in Korean-style sweet and spicy Yangnyeom chicken sauce. A local favorite and a rare find β so far, Iβve only seen it at Bong-i Donkatsu(λ΄μ΄λκ°μ€) in Gwanak-gu, Seoul. https://maps.app.goo.gl/vhXPGApJViLQPkrG7

Genuinely, I prefer most tonkatsu in Japan over donkass (or however you want to spell it). Korean version tends to be overly sauced, where a simple tonkatsu sauce is best for me. Quality of meat just depends on the store. The single best version I’ve ever had was a garlic tonkatsu in Shibuya many years ago.

One in my town. This is only 12,000 KRW!
Wang donkatsu. I prefer thin pounded out cutlets.Β
