Festa Italiana is back at Zona Rosa’s North Park from Friday, May 30 through Sunday, June 1, and it’s bigger than ever! This longtime KC favorite celebrates Italian-American culture with delicious food, nonstop entertainment, and community spirit—admission is free.Friday night kicks things off with live music, local vendors from Strawberry Swing Indie Craft Fair, and the crowd-favorite Meatball Eating Contest. On Saturday, enjoy everything from celebrity chef demos and accordion performances to a disco dance party and a return appearance from The Bronx Wanderers. There’s even a cannoli-eating contest and a pop-up market packed with indie makers.Sunday brings family-friendly fun like bounce houses, live music, the Italian Motorsports Show (12–2 PM), and the UNICO Scholarship Awards ceremony—where over $60,000 in scholarships will be presented to local students.KCWE will be there on Sunday, June 1, with our prize wheel and free swag.
