These were found at Sashas European market and Ali Baba market, both in San Antonio. These are all new to me, so hope I like them! Not sure about the smelt but the can was kind of cool.

Seems a little underwhelming honestly lol coulda got more. But seriously, I was just thinking about those two stores the other day cuz I’ve been meaning to visit (live north of town)! I like the variety, good to know. Report back with your favorites please!

For sure haha I’m personally a fan of Riga, had Alshark and Sultan before but don’t remember if it was those exact tins. Don’t be afraid if some have scales, you can eat or remove, not to shy you away from them just a warning.
I used to pass by both stores everyday thinking “I’ll exit and hit up the shop…nah tomorrow” and clearly still haven’t made it there yet. If you want to try some Japanese tins, head down to Tokyo Mart off Hildebrand. I love their goods, looks like a junky little store but awesome stuff!
