That’s awesome. I’m amazed they don’t get stolen

  2. “Hey how much longer you think you’ll be using that?”

    “Bout 14 hours”

Imagine getting to the park at 4 AM to start the smoker for dinner.

But I miss this about Texas.

    Lake Houston/ Alexander Deussen Park?

I saw some when I went and it would be awesome to do some ribs.

Bring your own pillow for those brisket nights

It gives square dancing and passion

Same here at a park on the south side of Houston – and they are all Pitts and Spitts.

People getting their midnight the night before to start their briskets.

Ahhh Texas… we just have crappy public grills with tons of pigeon poop and left over heroin needles in them.

That’s a fancy set up for free! Running water, sink and fridge I’m assuming in the diamond storage thing

Dang which city? Ready to move now from DFW lol 😂

Most public parks and lakes I’ve been to have these

Time to pack up the family for 16 hours at the park

Lol similar to how some parks in and around Santa Maria California have large santa maria style pits at them. Always nice when a place embraces something special about it.

The smoker is damn impressive, but I am even more astonished by the perfect stainless steel prep station with running water 😂

I’ve lived in a city too long. How has that not been stolen or turned into a homeless toilet.

First post I’ve ever seen that made me want to move from Iowa to Texas.

    That’s it!!! I’m moving to Texas 😆

Should add a pad lock. I’d pop in the night before to get it going.

A handful of my local parks have HUGE wood fires baking ovens. Some have locks and you need to get permits, but they are pretty indestructible & been going strong for decades.
