Looks so dry it’s been on that plate for two hours at least.

What’s that green shit sprinkled on it? Carbonara needs no bread either
Spaghetti, eggs, pecorino, guanciale and black pepper. That’s it.
Edit: I’ve just seen this was served in a restaurant too. I think the sauce has set already because they weren’t quick enough bringing it out. A lot of places cheat and use cream (not authentic) so that it doesn’t get sticky sitting under a warmer before it gets to the customer. If you’re going to make the sauce the proper way, get it out straight away, or mix it at the customer’s table for ultimate freshness

Is this fettuccine in egg beaters with bacon bits sprinkled on top?? Jesus dude.
I’m sure it was tasty, but once you have a real carbonara it will blow your mind.

That is definitely not a traditional carbonara, but don’t listen to people that’ll bully you for it because it still looks delicious

Won’t comment on whether it’s proper carbonara or not. But I wonder (No judgement, but I don’t know this from Germany/Europe) what is with the apparent Obsession with garlic bread to every slightly italian meal? I believe that ITS good, but why is this from what I See in Reddit/in Media auch a Thing in USA?
