Wine will be the protagonist of the weekend in Nairobi, in the setting of the Village Market shopping centre, in the area of the United Nations and the capital’s major embassies.
The ‘World Wine Weekend 2024’, which will showcase wine production from all over the world, could not miss the excellence of our home proposed by the importer and distributor Gourmet Master, with its wide range of quality wines ranging from the decisive structure of reds such as Chianti Classico, the eternal elegance of Barolo and the novelty of excellent wines from Salento and Sicily, to the freshness of white wines from Friuli VenezIa Giulia, for example.
Italy, as already demonstrated in recent events, such as the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) Expo and the Wine Fair in Westlands, fits perfectly into the most popular wine proposals in Kenya, having in just a few years climbed the rankings in terms of preference and quantity of imported wines (now second only behind France), despite the various problems related to exports.
WWW 2024 is also preparing to be an event aimed at promoting and celebrating our country’s wine and culinary industry, as well as an invitation for wine experts and enthusiasts to explore the history and culture of Italy, while also treating themselves to the pleasure of taste, palate and mind.
The appointment, with free admission, is for Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Village Market Food Court.
