  1. The date is definitely 06/10/2025. You can tell that the month is a 6 because it is not like the 5 in 2025.

  2. CallMeYox

06/10/2025. You can see 5 in 3510 and it looks too different

  3. Choice-Counter-1166

That is a 6, look at the other 5. They don’t look like each other.

It’s not an expiration date. That’s just the date the manufacturer puts because that’s how long they think, on average, how long the food will retain the freshness they want it to have. If it smells and looks fine then it’s probably fine too consume.

  5. well it is either the 6th october 2025 (normal) or the 10th june 2025 (imperial)

  6. It’s a 6 but they shouldn’t do that stupid dot print. I’ve thrown out food that was probably fine for the same reason.

  7. do a smell test, if it’s been frozen it can probably last that long even if it doesn’t say 06

I spent way too long wondering why she was concerned over it being the 5th or 6th of October, before I remembered the US date format…

  9. Silvawuff

I can tell you that this was made at 7:44 PM on machine line 9A on April 1st, 2025. The use by is definitely June 10th, 2025.

hey, girlfriend here. i’m pretty partial to it being 10th of May. the first part of my argument includes the slanted bottom of the five in “3510”. The bottom of the digit in question looks like an extreme version of this. The second part of my argument consists the top half of this five or six. as you can see, this printer has the capability to produce the slanted top a six would require. so why doesn’t it? Ex- the top right side of “Y” in the word “BY”. i will happily be proven wrong, but my tummy hurts. note this was only discovered after looking for reasons why my stomach could hurt.

Why sort your dates biggest smallest medium….. Why not just ascending or descending? Ymd or dmy. Soooo much easier to understand! And idiot proof

  12. GrandTestamentXI

So the 3510 is the Julian date, it’s another way office production can tell the date. So yes whatever format it is the correct date is : 05/10/2025

Now look at the top of the 5 on all other 5’s now look at the 9 in the EST, if take the 9 and flip it the 6 has 2 dots and then curve, the 5 has three straight dots and then a curve.

  13. StopCrony2025

It’s a 6 for sure. All the 5’s are consistently printed with exactly 12 dots, while the month in the expiration date only has 11

  14. Silverguy1994

    06/10/25

A thing like chicken would have a pretty obvious taste if it wasn’t frozen and also a month expired.

  15. Chachi_supreme

Use by/best before different then expired…. Its all good she gonna live

  16. peppermintmeow

That’s a 06. Compare the known 05 in several other places like 2025 to the other text and you’ll see that it’s a different pattern.

  17. sandpirate_88

    It’s a 6. Count the dots, all the 5s have 12 dots, the 6 has 11

  18. AdComfortable4641

well all the fives have 12 dots and that one has 11 so I’d say it is a 6

  19. Mrexzxxxxxx

So what even if it is expired? Looks like processed trash that will stay good for the next nuclear apocalypse

  20. skawarrior

It’s fine, you’ve obviously got until October 5th or 6th is irrelevant

  21. Maidenbaby88

It’s definitely a 6. And even if it was a 5 it would still probably be fine if it was sealed and kept in the fridge

  22. bumbles220

Ah yes, freedom units. Not me being confused for 5 minutes

  23. dontgonearthefire

Depends on the country it was produced in. Only the US/Kenya/Greenland use MM/DD/YYYY, the rest of the world uses DD/MM/YYYY or YYYY/MM/DD.

  24. heatseaking_rock

Don’t get me wrong, but chicken caprese is stupid by naming alone. Don’t even need to look over the recipe anymore.
