Is this normal sedimentation for Hot Ones? I have a bunch like this just bought from Publix.

Shake it and enjoy. I would.

Could it be that the seal under the cap is broken and the sauce oxidized?

That Sell By looks sketchy. It would appear the original date was wiped off with acetone and new one was added. There would no reason for that date font to not match up with the font used on the rest of the quality information, as it’s just one quick trip by the same assembly line printer. Hmm. That’s just speculation. As an another guy said, I’d shake it up and enjoy. Also, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a bit sour.

Oxidation and it’s not desirable
