I was in the mood for a smash burger so I went to Easy Street for the first time in a while. They are close so it’s an easy trip. They’ve really blown up in popularity since the viral videos and reviews. Clearly popular with the young and hip Gen Z crowd. I also saw some people in cars worth more than my life popping in to get their orders to go. The owners are good dudes so I’m glad their place is doing well considering they started as a curbside pop-up serving burgers in a parking lot.
It’s a tasty smash burger. I like the sauce, and that you can get the grilled onions and bacon as an option. Fries are good and crispy, and they seem to give you more than I remember from last time. I have no complaints, other than you might have to wait a while on a weekend night, but that’s to be expected. I imagine it’s easier to stop in during less peak hours in the week, which I haven’t checked for recently.
One new thing I noticed, they have a wild burger combo where you can get a burger with grilled onions, wild fries, and a drink for $19.
I would recommend Easy Street if you like the smash burger scene and you want to try a place that’s popping off right now. Alternatively, you might want to try Hi-Ho Cheeseburger or Heavy Handed where you probably won’t have to deal with crowds and wait times as much, but they are just as good. Still, Easy Street’s food is very good and worth the trip if you can make the time.
