An Eastpointe-based pizza has expanded under a new owner into neighboring Roseville.
Little Italy Pizza is scheduled to open today at 17818 13 Mile Road, east of Utica Road in a storefront formerly occupied by a barbecue restaurant.
Originally founded in Detroit and currently based on 10 Mile and Interstate 94, the restaurant was purchased in 2024 by Sean Katchuba, who plans to lead the brand into its next chapter of growth while honoring its legacy of quality and community connection.
“Opening in Roseville was a natural next step for Little Italy,” Katchuba said in a news release.
“Our guests know we don’t cut corners—we use quality ingredients, make everything from scratch and take pride in every dish we serve. That commitment has earned us generations of loyal customers in Eastpointe, and Roseville is just the beginning.”

Little Italy Pizza’s menu carries round and Detroit-style pizzas, pasta dishes, wings, chicken and veal parmesan, fresh salads and house-made desserts. The carryout store use the same scratch-made recipes that launched the brand in 1959.
For its grand opening, Little Italy will be offering $9.99 large one-topping pizzas today and Wednesday.
