This board looks amazing! With all the fresh and exotic fruit: dragon fruit and passionfruit, plus the time ti takes to prep and arrange, u could easily charge $10-$15 x person. This one looks like it could serve 6-10 maybe? so around $75-$120 total. If you include deliver y or setup u could bump it up a bit too.

I would also look at pricing at your local grocer. Our grocery store charges a ton for little fruit trays. It looks delicious

Cost of your food & supplies x2 and if the result is untenable for your time spent or your target clientele, then figure out what changes to make

Baby’s breath is toxic and should never be used somewhere it could be accidently ingested.

I would charge the cost of the set up, plus 20%, and an hourly wage added to your total.

    Example-
    Food- $100 plus 20% =$120
    Hours to create/deliver- $30 x 3 hours = $90
    Total- $210

Of course you decide what you’re worth.

Those flowers cause nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea. I would not be paying for that lol

Not every hobby has to be turned into a business

Shoot for a 60 to 70% gross margin. There’s business calculators online to help. That’ll give you room to account for the cost of goods as well as your time. And it will be easier to calculate in the future. If you’re including set up and tear down then you should charge likely at least a $30 hourly rate minimum 2 hours.

  9. You really shouldn’t put non-edible things on food/platters. Always assume people do not know the difference. That being said, pansies, bee balm, or nasturtium would look lovely with fruit.

If you don’t know that some of the tiny little items on there are toxic to people, then you shouldn’t be starting a business. This is unrealistic.
