I didn’t know people called perilla sesame leaf. Wonder how that started since perilla is actually a mint relative

Perilla leaves are difficult to find where I live so when I got to an H Mart or on the rare case they’re in stock at the local Chinese market I buy 6-8 containers of them and just eat an excessive amount of perilla leaves for a month.
