I’ve only dabbled in cookies but this is my first order (luckily for a friend otherwise I might be panicking) but any tips on how to get it smoother? Not sure what I did wrong! I used this recipe:

    It seems like the outside dried faster than the inside so it sank a little. Are you in a dry climate?

    I would say just a smidge too thick, it should settle on itself nicely without flowing over the sides

    I’ve heard this can happen if there’s zero airflow, or too much! The Goldilocks of airflow 🙃

    The icing looks dull because it’s overmixed. It has an uneven surface because there’s not quite enough icing in some spots. Thinning the icing just a bit (I recommend using a spray bottle as an easy way to control water in tiny amounts) will help, but continuing to practice and hone your skills will be the biggest help – you’re so close!
