Taziki’s Mediterranean Café is now serving at Hoover’s Knox Square.
It’s the popular chain’s 13th location in the greater Birmingham area and 24th in the state.
Located at 5880 Elsie Road, Building D-1 — just off Alabama 150 and Stadium Trace Parkway, and directly across from the Hoover Met and The Finley Center — the new café is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The 3,164-square-foot location has a large community table and outdoor patio seating.
Taziki’s is a fast-casual eatery offering a Greek-Mediterranean-inspired menu with gyros, soups, salads and signature offerings made with chicken, steak and lamb. It is open daily for lunch and dinner.
“We appreciate the excitement and support this community has shown since we opened our doors and look forward to celebrating with everyone,” Keith Richards, founder of Taziki’s, said. “Being located at Knox Square in Hoover — right in the heart of such a thriving area — is an incredible opportunity to serve this growing community with food that’s fresh, flavorful and made with care.”
A restaurant at Huntsville’s The Foundry opened in February. A site off U.S. 431 in Hampton Cove is expected to open later this year.
Taziki’s now operates more than 100 locations across 18 states.
