Marinated Spam in 1:1 soy sauce and oyster sauce for 2 hours. Smoked at 250° for 1 hr, 350° for 15 minutes to crisp it up. Sliced it up and threw it on the cast iron for a few minutes. brushed on some more marinade while it was in the skillet. Turned out pretty good!

Gonna have to try this
I prefer to slice the spam, then smoke. That way each one gets a crust. Same with sausage.
You marinated something salty in something even saltier? How was it?
