    I walk my garden every morning before leaving for work. It’s a wonderful way to start my day.

    Every day! I open the back door and say good morning to my plants while the coffee is brewing.

    You’re doing this wrong… you’re supposed to check your garden WITH your first cup of coffee.

    First thing in the morning and any time I walk past the garden. Also a final check in the evening when the sun’s setting.

    My neighbours probably think I’m crazy.

    I also talk to my plants and any insects I come across.

    I’ve started getting up a few minutes earlier so I can take a quick peek through the garden – and I don’t make it in the door after work before taking another walkthrough 🙂 Nothing producing for me yet but I love the anticipation 🙂

    I’m new to gardening, this is our first year doing anything. Every evening when my husband gets home from work we do a “State of the Yard” walkthrough and I take him around and we get excited together at all the progress.

    Growing up my father would walk in the front door after work, walk straight across the house and right out into the backyard to check his garden.

    Yup, I start the machine, go out to check and water then have my coffee in the garden amongst the beauty. Except when it’s raining .. then I have an umbrella 😏
