The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is adding a second outpost in New Jersey.
Located at 2040 Route 9 in Old Bridge, the fast-casual franchise serves a menu inspired by Greek, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisines. Top menu items include gyros, souvlaki plates and salads. It also offers rice bowls, customizable with protein choices like lamb, steak, chicken, shrimp and more. Available sides include feta fries. There are also sweet desserts, such as baklava, rice pudding and baklava ice cream.
Founded 13 years ago in Nevada, the chain has more than 50 stores across North America. In the pipeline, it has 300 locations in development.
In an effort to scale the business, The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill teamed up with United Franchise Group in 2018 to develop a franchise program. UFG’s other affiliated brands include Graze Craze, Signarama, Office Evolution and Cannoli Kitchen Pizza.
The chain officially made its New Jersey debut two years in Florham Park.
