We can all agree that when you are hangry, you’re on borrowed time to get yourself a snack before everything falls apart around you! Like people, many animals like to keep to a strict schedule when it comes to eating their meals. Elephants, for example, are especially impatient when it comes to food, and because they have size on their side, they never have to wait for their dinner!
Recently, in Thailand, a shop owner got the shock of their life when a massive elephant entered their grocery store and started helping himself to whatever he wanted! He didn’t even ask permission, how rude!
According to locals that live near the Khao Yai National Park in central Thailand, this humongous dinner guest frequently leaves the park in search of sustenance. His name is Plai Biang Lek, and he has been known to enter people’s homes in search of food. However, this is the first time the tusked thief has entered a local shop.
The enormous elephant was actually quite careful while in the store and did not appear to be there to destroy anything. He just wanted a snack, and after eating nine bags of sweet crackers, a sandwich, and some bananas, he slowly backed out of the shop and went on his way.

Khamploi Kakaew, the shop owner, encouraged the bull elephant to exit the store and thankfully, after a few minutes, wildlife officials arrived to shoo him on his way and encourage him to return to the National Park located about a mile away. Apparently, there was a second elephant waiting outside, which sounds amusing, maybe he was the lookout!
As you can imagine, this video has gone viral with many viewers leaving hilarious comments! Here are a few of the favorites:

Now that this big guy knows where they keep the good snacks, something tells me he might be back for more in the near future!
