Had some left over burgers I made from last weekend. First time grilling frozen burgers. Did 5-6 mins each side and seasoned just before flipping (salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder) cut onions and had some casualties but manned up and grabbed them from the bottom. Only buns I had were gluten free so gave those a go. Not a fan but oh well. Side of white bean, artichoke, sundried tomato salad. Was alright kinda acidic. Condiments on burger were mayo, bbq sauce, ketchup, mustard, and relish. Didn’t use a ton of coals so my grill stayed at about 350 the whole time.

No concerns. My thoughts are if it makes you and your family happy, fuckin go for it.
Who gives a shit what a bunch of idiot strangers think!

Looks like we’re reading the same menu. It’s burger time for me tonight as well.

As long as they were not thawed before grilling I’d have no issue. If they thawed, I’d make sure they are cooked.

You froze already cooked burgers or had leftover patties uncooked and frozen?

As long as you used good food safety practices while handling the raw meat and they taste as good as they look I’d call it a success.

Grilling from frozen is completely doable. It lends itself to more of a smoker-like quality. Rock on.

What concerns did you think we would think of?

  12. Nothing wrong with frozen burgers it’s a quick meal if your working late. Just read the ingredients make sure they are 100% beef and not filled with fillers. We like Costco 100% sirloin 1/3 pounders.

What’s that as the side dish you’re having with the burgers?

Man there are truly some great frozen burgers out there. Bo-bandy gang for life.

Nothing wrong with frozen burgers (or meat in general). I always think the flavor is a little off though. Frozen ground beef always does that to me, but no one else seems to notice so maybe it’s in my head.

  16. Costco frozen patties are the way to go for a quick meal during the week in summer (or any time really). Usually Monday nights are burger nights. No issues that I see!

My only concern is – where’s the bacon?

  18. Imnothighyourhigh

Why would I be concerned about what you eat. I don’t give a fuck

Rock on. Grilled onions are THE BEST burger topping.
