Reading here I have gathered that Liberty is a preferred blend.
Just wondering if these blends are just as good as the single flavor pellets.

I don’t know the liberty blend, but google tells me it’s pitboss and cherry and oak blended. Lumber jack is good, I use it a lot, lots of folks do since it’s also pretty cheap. I’d probably favor it over anything from pitboss, but that’s just me I guess. Their competition blend is nice, I’ve used it. Haven’t used the supreme blend, but it’s probably good. For $9, try it. Hickory and oak, so its going to be a little stronger flavor, I think. Kirkland has a good competition blend as well. Single flavor pellets are fine too, but you might need to mix and match depending on what you’re cooking. I tend to just keep a competition blend in there and use it for anything I’m making and it works great.

I believe I read somewhere same company makes bear mountain and lumberjack and both are well regarded. With my searwood I’ve only used lumberjack and have been pleased with them.

I use the lumberjack competition blend for pork ribs and they come out great!
