Volti Tuscan Grill & Bar at Shangri-La Bangkok has been awarded the prestigious “Tre Forchette” (Three Forks) distinction by Gambero Rosso, Italy’s premier authority on Italian food, wine and travel.
The accolade, considered the Italian equivalent of Michelin Stars, recognises excellence in authentic Italian dining globally and places Volti amongst the world’s leading Italian restaurants.
The “Tre Forchette” represents one of Gambero Rosso’s highest categories, reserved exclusively for restaurants that exemplify excellence in Italian gastronomy through quality, innovation and authenticity.
The award was announced at Gambero Rosso’s Top Italian Restaurants event on 4 June in Bangkok, held in collaboration with the Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce (TICC). The gathering celebrated the finest Italian culinary talents across the region, with Volti earning top distinction amongst competing establishments.
Culinary excellence under Italian leadership
Led by Executive Italian Chef Bruno Ferrari, Volti Tuscan Grill & Bar operates as Bangkok’s only Tuscan-style grill restaurant. The establishment has built its reputation on signature dishes including Beef Carpaccio with truffle, Alla Milanese adorned with 24-karat edible gold leaf, and handmade potato gnocchi with roasted duck ragù.
The restaurant sources premium organic ingredients from trusted local farms whilst maintaining traditional Italian preparation methods, creating an elevated yet welcoming dining atmosphere that appeals to both local and international clientele.
