  1. I mean it’s obviously not a t bone but it’s only $11. Take it to the meat counter and ask them to price it as what it is and you might save .75¢

It is a t bone, the eye Fillet is smaller up one end

I see it too it’s like they sell I fillet separately then sell the new York with the bone attached for a higher price per pound. 3x profit increase

still good deal. you can’t get T-Bones for under $15 a pound where I’m at. top sirloin is the 10 bucks a pound

  5. In my shop a tbone was essentially a bone in strip. It was a porterhouse if it had filet too

Butcher is illiterate and dosent know the alphabet.

This looks to be at a commissary or PX on a military base, you could conceivably get away with it there

Whoa a fellow patron of the commissary, if you didn’t know and a lot of people don’t, if it’s before 1430 you can goto the butcher(ring the bell in the meat department) and a rep will ask what you need. You can ask this person to cut you steaks to your thickness and liking!! Depending on what they have in the back, be sure about your measurements though, I once received four 3 inch thick ribeyes when I asked for 2 inch haha.
