  1. Thank you Geoff. This looks like a lovely combination of flavours and textures. I initially thought it looked quite complicated but you broke the stages down so well that I realised I could do it! Could you use the custard for other desserts?

  2. Hi Geoff. I want to correct you about the dessert. It is not Greek actually. It should be Turkish ekmek kadayıf. Ekmek is a Turkish word that means bread. Greek word is different. Kadayıf (kataif) is a Arabic word. We make ekmek kadayıf as a dessert in Turkey. If you like, you can make your own search on youtube.

  3. It looks amazing Mr.Cooper, sadly we dont't have the base where I live but thanks a lot👏🏽👏🏻🤞🏽🤞🏻🤗🤗

  4. Good afternoon mr cooper from a damp lake district. I have never heard of this, but it looks delish ! 🤤 I thought u were using angel hair pasta at 1st😮

  5. Hi Geoff this looks so different ….not sure its for me,,, a little to foreign 😂😂😂👍 I'll stick with apple tart this afternoon with my cuppa 🍏🥧🍵

  6. I just need lemons and cream! Did not know what to do with the kataifi I have. Thank you! It will be a show stopper.

  7. Hello, Mr Cooper!
That recipe not only seems tasty, but it also looks so beautiful because of the topping you made and the filling with the filo pastry.
Also, the dough looks so soft and the cream so light! That's a very fine recipe.
    Thank you very much.

  8. I just want to take a moment to appreciate how much care you take in the way you structure your videos. I'm an experienced baker, although I learn something new every time I enter my kitchen, but I also know people very new to baking who find your videos as helpful as I do. You're very good at presenting all kinds of recipes in a methodical, clear way that makes it easy to understand why different techniques and steps matter, and you make even quite complex and unusual recipes seem far less daunting.

I am a big fan of kataifi but have mostly only eaten it in knafi – after watching your video I definitely need to try this recipe, too.

  9. Now I’ll have to look for the kataifi in my Persian market. That’ll be my best bet in finding it. I absolutely love the custard and cream on top. Nice that you used the whole egg for the custard. The recipe is relatively easy but time consuming.
Thanks for coming up with different recipes every week.

  10. We are certainly travelling abroad with this dessert . I have never heard of it ..Would like to try it first before making it . Never been to turkey or greece . It looks lovely and good to try new things . From the gang
