This is a simonelli appia. It started to get weaker a few days ago, and today was like this. We tried disassembling it ang washing with a scotch-brite and dish detergent but it did nothing.

If the 'cap' (the part you can twist out) is not in place, it has full pressure, just really splashing everywhere

What could it be?

Call your espresso machine guy. You have a whole in the tube from the boiler just replaced ours last week and it’s soooo much better. Super common part to break in these. $15 says it’s on the curved part of the pipe. Keep me updated.

  2. Try unscrewing that faucet and see if it’s caked up with hard water. Soak in Dezcal or some white vinegar mixture. I’ve done it to countless machines babaaayyyy

  3. Also check water temp? Sometimes when it’s too high, it can struggle.

This water comes from your steam boiler. From what I can see on the pressure gauge, the pressure is low. Pressure on steam boilers should be around 1.5 bars. Are you having issues steaming milk as well?it could also be the water level in the boiler might be low due to scale build up on the water level probe.

It could be a variety of things

It could be scale build up in your boiler, It can be that the water levels too low, it could be scale build up in the syphon, or it could be that your spout/aerator has scale in it.
