I thought she was coming for my fish spatula. I was not happy

  2. If you’re using metal tongs on non stick you got a fuckin’ problem

The whole “single purpose tool” is definitely a thing. Some ppl have multiple cabinets filled with as-seen-on-tv type stuff that barely gets used and is a PITA to clean.

Moving away from plastic stuff (for the micro plastics and the durability) is always a plus too.

  4. Scary-Bot123

I used to follow her and then decided I can’t stand her. She’s a good cook though

  5. dick_hallorans_ghost

Disagree about the peelers, spot on for the rest of it.

  6. Charirner

The only thing I disagree with her is the peelers.

  7. Mindless_Welcome3302

“Just think about the reality of this” had me 😂

  8. Dante2005

She pissed off so many subreddits in her time.

She is a good cook and sure her finger flipping is a logo, see she is talented.

Good chef, I don’t agree 100% about everything she cooks, but which chef would.

  9. I have one of those fish spatulas at home. No idea where it came from, or what it was called, but man is it handy for all sorts of things.

She comes off really irritating and preachy. I don’t even have the sound on and I can’t stand this girl.

Ok.those things where you just pull the string and it chops everything up is kind of amazing. Throw all my.fixings for chicken salad in there (walnuts, dried fruit or grapes, can of chunk chicken, mayo, seasoning) and just let it rip and I can eat it straight out of there with some crackers. Also great for just rough chopping handfuls of nuts for a recipe.

I agree with most of what she said, but you will never get me to betray my food processor beyblade fusion

  12. illbedeadbydawn

Tell her to come make guacamole at my place.

After avo number 264 she will be SCREAMING for that green chingadera.

Im 98% against single use kitchen gadgets, but i fucking CRUSH avos with that thing. Way faster than any knife once you get going.

  13. SausageSmuggler21

    She’s fun!

I’ve had to break my rule on single use gadgets because I have a wife.

For home, I will always choose my plastic tipped tongs over my all metal ones. I like my pans. Plus, I’m never gonna leave the tongs in fire or on a hot surface long enough to melt.

I feel like side peelers vs push/pull peelers is a generational preference. Any other GenX cooks rocking the side peelers or is it just me?

  14. Affectionate_Ear78

Person is annoying as hell. Lemme guess, she also uses metal baking spatula too

  15. No_Amoeba_9272

Fire extinguisher is the only one job kitchen tool. Hopefully you never need it

  16. Affectionate_Ear78

Love the super-cut on the rubber-tipped tongs. Probably had to sit there for a good 10 seconds with the torch before it got melty enough for the shot. Guess I can’t use my baking spatula when making a sauce/custard either because that’s exposing it to heat as well…I’ll pull out my metal one since that one really gets the curves of a pan well.

  17. AmbroseKalifornia

Love her, but I like my big stainless colander. I need a big strainer to drain pounds of pasta. The little guys are not going to cut it

  18. dick_hallorans_ghost

I don’t find them to be comfortable to use. A straight peeler gives me a much more natural motion.

  19. Salty-Image-2176

This chick is SO fugging annoying. I tried watching her cooking videos, and the endless and forced “I’m cool” attitude was full fingernails on chalkboard…and this is no better.
There are garbage kitchen gadgets out there? Shocking.

  20. Win-Objective

That’s a lady who loves to scratch up non stick pans.

  21. EducationalAspect503

She has bigger attitude than her points, the purpose of huge plastic using in kitchen appliances is most of cooking ware and containers are easily scratched for nonstick cooking and better looking which is most popular choice in family cooking choosing

  22. Achilles720

This woman has me fully erect. On a side note, she is also quite beautiful.

  23. z3r0c00l_

Reposted and still fucked the title up.

The word you’re looking for is “has”.

  24. VeeVeeDiaboli

Side ways peelers are bomb because now you can down stroke and upstroke your potato. I can peal a potato and or a carrot or a beet in under five seconds. Do that with a shaver style peeler.

  25. constantlymat

I didn’t find her presenting style nearly as grating as many in this thread.

Grow a pair gents, you can handle a confident woman’s opinions.

  26. Right-Benefit-6551

Got a non-stick mainly for eggs and that’s it. I bougie. 4 years old btw.

  27. teddyburke

I’ve honestly never understood what makes Y-shaped peelers better than “sideways” peelers.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen an old timer bring in a Y-shaped peeler or complain about “sideways” ones, but literally every 20 something showing off their kit online has one.

If I spent the time getting used to it would it actually save me time? I’m pretty fast with a cheap “horizontal” peeler. What exactly am I missing?

  28. JoefromOhio

I have to argue against her on the avocado thing, it’s similar to a bagel slicer in that its entire purpose is to prevent one of the most common kitchen injuries. My roommate severed nerves in his hand stabbing himself while cutting/pitting an avocado, the ER doc immediately guessed how it happened because it’s one of the most common reasons for stab wounds in the hand, I’ve heard the same thing about the sliced palm wound from cutting a bagel. In my mind they’re dual purpose – 1. Cut object in question, 2. Keep you from cutting yourself.
