Business trip to NYC. My business partner and I did a burger tour while we were there. We were not disappointed. 1. 4 Charles was best burger and best baked potato I have had anywhere. 2. I loved Red Hook Tavern’s burger and vibe. I would get the burger medium next time (the medium rare was closer to rare). 3. Monkey Bar was fantastic service. We tried both the cheeseburger and the wagyu burger. Both were great. I preferred the former. 4. We also ordered both options at Minetta. Again, I preferred the burger over the Black Label. 5. Torrisi chicken sandwich. Best French fries goes to Red Hook (and best vibe) with Minetta second. Best pickle and best dessert were at Monkey Bar (and their crab rangoons were the best I have ever had anywhere). Everything was amazing. Every single one was excellent. Service was great at every location. The reservations took some effort and there were a number of very early and very late meals, but everything was amazing. I acknowledge I’m not the best photographer. I just take a quick shot and get to eating.
