I'm dieting strictly to attempt to alleviate the pain from a herniated disc. Been through the wringer of steroid injections, physical therapy, and doctors… I get better after each setback after a month or so, but the one thing that makes the pain completely go away is supporting some of my weight by leaning on a counter or pressing down on my office chair arms.
The obvious solution is to drop enough weight that my back isn't angry in the first place, but some days just hurt too much to do food preparation other than tossing a single item into the air fryer or microwave. That's how I've landed on this travesty today.

When I had a herniated disc, lidocaine patches were a lifesaver. They used to be prescription only, but I believe Salonpas makes a non-prescription one now.
Not a travesty at all! You nourished yourself as best as you could within the confines of your pain.
I do hope you can find some relief soon 💖

Ur so real for this 🙏🏼 hope you find healing soon!!
This is what got me going. I’m 50 pounds down and my back is much better. As you start to feel better make sure you move your body. You’re doing great!
29% of calories from alcohol, nice.
Sticking to your goals while in pain = bonus points
hows the lean cuisine? honest review?
