This quick and easy recipe combines ground beef, fresh veggies, and aromatic spices for a delicious, home-cooked meal that’s perfect for any day of the week.

In this video, I’ll show you how to:
βœ… Grate and mix onions with ground beef
βœ… Add flavorful spices like black pepper and sumac
βœ… Shape the kebabs on wooden skewers
βœ… Cook them in a pan with juicy tomatoes and bell peppers for amazing flavor
βœ… Serve them with delicious saffron rice for the perfect Persian touch!

✨ Ingredients for the Kebab Sticks:
β€’ 250 grams of ground beef
β€’ 2 medium onions
β€’ Β½ teaspoon of black pepper
β€’ 1 tablespoon of sumac
β€’ 1 teaspoon of salt
β€’ 3 tomatoes
β€’ Β½ bell pepper
.1/2teaspoon tomato paste

(Optional: Serve with rice for a complete meal)

✨ Ingredients for the Rice:
β€’ 1Β½ cups of rice
β€’ 2Β½ cups of water
β€’ 1 teaspoon of salt
β€’ 1 tablespoon of brewed saffron

✨ Instructions:
1️⃣ Prepare the Kebab Mixture:
Grate or blend the onions. In a bowl, combine the onions with the ground beef. Add salt, black pepper, and sumac, then knead the mixture well until fully combined.

2️⃣ Shape the Kebabs:
Take a small handful of the mixture and shape it around a wooden skewer, pressing it firmly so that it sticks to the skewer and doesn’t fall off.

3️⃣ Cook the Kebabs:
Arrange the kebabs in a pan. Slice the tomatoes and the half bell pepper, and place them on top of the kebabs. Sprinkle with a bit more sumac.

4️⃣ Cover and Cook:
Cover the pan and let the kebabs cook in the juices of the tomatoes and onions for about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, flip the kebabs to cook the other side. You can add 1/2 teaspoons tomatoes paste .After a total of 20 minutes, the kebabs should be fully cooked and ready to serve.

5️⃣ Optional Rice:
If you’d like to serve with rice, cook the rice in a pot using the absorption method. Once the water is absorbed, flip the rice to another pot or pan. Add some oil and brewed saffron to the pot, then return the rice to the pot. After 45 minutes, the rice will be ready. You can turn the rice out onto a large plate and serve it alongside the kebabs.
