I got the 3 meat combo plate ($32) which came with 2 sides. Truth be told idk if I was charged for the extra side ($5) as it was part of a larger order.

I asked for one slice each of the point and flat. They included an extra slice of the crust. 2 ribs, and a good sized portion of pulled pork. Officially, it’s a 5 oz serving but likely it’s padded out a bit.

Sides were on point. Tater tot casserole, potato salad (add bacon) and Brussels sprouts. The trimmings were on point. A generous serving of both pickles and
Giardiniera, and pickled onions.

Dessert was delicious (not pictured but a huge piece of banana/caramel cake) is definitely something I’d order again.

You could easily get away with a 2 meat combo ($28) but $4 for an extra protein was a no brainer for me.

I brought about half of it home and ate it for breakfast the next day mixed with some scrambled eggs, tortilla, and homemade tomatillo salsa.

My girlfriend and I split the rest of the potato for breakfast. The food went a long way to say the least.

For roughly $40, this was one of the best meals I’ve ate without considering price. It ranks high on the value scale for me, as I was able to get more than 2 meals out of it.

Truth bbq was just rated at #9 in the state
By Texas BBq monthly.

Service was friendly, the man bussing tables offered to take pictures of our party.

Atmosphere was great. Not pretentious, but Texas road house casual. We got there around 6 and there was a line out the door on a Tuesday evening when we left.

If this is 9 in the state, it’s clear why y’all claim Texas bbq to be the best in the country. I’m a believer in Truth. Cheers

I wish they would switch up the slice of white bread. There’s so much more flavorful breads to pare with bbq
