Made Salsa Verde today but came out mild because I didn’t have habanero. Still tastes great! Here’s the recipe.
1 lb Tomatillos
3 cloves garlic
2 jalapeños
1 Serrano
1 Roma tomato
Broiled all the above for 1/2 hour turning at 15 minutes. Got a nice char.
Put everything in food processor and added:
Handful cilantro
1/4 yellow onion
1 lime (juice)
1 tbs vinegar
1/2 cup water
Salt to taste

A little aggressive on the char, no?
Actually char was really good. You can see in the second picture there are nice flecks of char but salsa is still verde
I’d ease up on the char, but if you like it that way then I won’t yuck your yum
