Found a Vortex on clearance and put it to use in my Weber kettle the other night. Wow! I'm not sure I'll be able to grill wings (or thighs or legs, etc.) any other way again. Mine went for 50 mins and that seem a little too long. BUT, they were delicious!!

Where did you buy your vortex? Are there recommended brands?
I thinking about cutting off the bottom of a big metal bowl. Will this work as a vortex?
